Easily one of the top three places I’ve had sushi in the city after visiting well over 100! The is extremely fresh, the service is on point and the place is extremely clean! Can’t wait to come back! Yes it’s a little pricey but so worth every penny

All of the food and sushi on the menu at Shinsen is fresh and delicious. The Ahi Tuna Tower is BEYOND. The Butter Crab Roll with warm butter ponzu dipping sauce is over the top. Shinsen has an incredible sake selection and the vibe is very cool. My favorite Japanese restaurant in NYC / hands down.

Sushi was super fresh and delicious. Best miso soup I’ve ever had. Super flavorful. Staff was exceptional and friendly.
