Golden Krust

I bought current goat rice and peas, got home started dishing it out and I got a strand of hair no less than 20 inches in my food . I was angry I threw it away b4 taking a pic of the hair but below all the food is in the trash .

There is few restaurant that can get this jamaica cuisine right. They staff at this golden Krust never disappointment. No matter what I choose to order. You can't go wrong eating here. They even expand the menu to include vegan theme and Chinese options. Best of all you won't find the staff distracted by cellphones.

I have a few things to say about this location. They are very inconsistent. VERY CHEAP WITH PLASTIC BAGS. Even when they know the sauce / gravy or oil will spill out DO NOT WANT TO WRAP YOUR FOOD WITH PLASTIC I usually get the salt fish in the Morning with boiled dumplings and Calalou. EVERY OTHER TIME I GO something is already done. I usually come in between 7- 8 o’clock I do not understand how and it’s establishment runs out of breakfast before 8 AM. Imagine has a clear example - of the calaou missing some days it’s the boil dumplings or even the salt fish. This is something that management needs to fix because at 8 AM it’s still breakfast time. There should be no reason that breakfast is running out before then

The females here have a ATTITUDE issue they VERY RUDE especially the Jamaican ones and it’s a thing I notice with most of these Jamaican restaurants here in New York City the FEMALES ARE VERY DISGUSTING & RUDE. If I could give them a NEGATIVE FIVE -5 I would.

I got a oxtail meal..rice very hardNot 1 drop of oxtail gravy just a pure oil PURE OIL!!! The rice was dripping of oil. some people are so wicked. You can never get not a penny from me after today.

Very Horrible Service.Rude customer service. This is why, nobody supports foreign food spots. Just close down the store,yall make the same food.

Last Time I Bought Here They Sold Me 4 Patties That Was Sitting In Heat For God Knows For How Long, It Didn't Give Me That Fresh Taste I Was Looking For, I'm Am Good With Buying Here Big Waste Of Money.

Ordered a chicken foot soup and it tasted days old thick and choppy as if it was served and stirred with water. Needs improvement food wise but has potential. Customer service was good.

I dont think this place has any intentions of improving....Mediocrity at its best. I walk in on a Friday morning at 9 38am and inquired about porridge. I was told that breakfast is over, as if I am crazy for even asking. If lunch starts at 9:30am, then what time is dinner? I walk in on a Tuesday morning at 10:50am and bought a patty with coco bread. It was not fresh...it was dried out from refrigerating rewarming. The taste of meals in general is very inconsistent. What are they charging top dollar for? I really want to know. Competition in the neighborhood is better so is Golden Krust simply just a name? What happened to the brand?
