If you're looking for the perfect Mom & Pop style Chinese Buffet Restaurant in the Manhattan area, The Golden Wok is it. Easily accessed but nicely secluded. Well worth the trip for a wonderful, relaxed dining experience. Family operated/kid friendly, accommodating/smiling staff, amazing assortment of delicious classics and bonus extra dishes offer unusual variety at fantastic, all-included prices. Hot & Sour and Egg Drop soups made fresh daily, awesome Mongolian Grill feature and Dessert Bar put this place over the top! All you can eat, free refills. Great food + inviting, laid-back staff & atmosphere + bargain prices = excellent value! I'd give this place 6 stars if I could. Try it once, you'll be back.

So far the best Asian place I have found in town by a decent margin. I’ve tried a good number of things and they all seem to have a consistent high level of quality. Overall solid place where they seem to put good care into what they do.

The food had variety, if you like meat. If you're looking for vegetables, go somewhere else. Food had been out for awhile. The hibachi puts so much do sauce on the food, you can't taste it. We'll skip this place in the future. Considering how few tables were seated when we came in at 6p, we should have known.

Food was good. But service was horrible. We were never greeted when we came in the lady only asked us for our drinks and set us down. At no point did they ever come back to ask us for refills or how we were doing. The bathrooms are creepy and outdated. But the food was really good.
