Good Dog! Dog Training and Boarding

Finding Josh Sponsler and his dog boarding and training services has proved to be the best situation we've ever found for our dog! Many places have caged confinement and minimal exercise and too many dogs barking incessantly. Josh's set up is a far more natural environment (large fenced property for free exercise and play, swimming tank for hot summers). In addition, he genuinely cares about dogs! Our female dog is older and gets easily stressed out with too much romp and play from younger dogs. Josh "gets" her, and I can tell by her body language that she is happy to go there. Our dog has anxiety with thunderstorms and Josh has worked with her to mitigate her reactions. He really knows his stuff! I heartily recommend Good Dog Training and Boarding!

I call Josh the hound dog whisperer. I have an affinity for hound dogs and have used Josh since I got my Coon hound almost 2 years ago. Josh came to my place and worked with me with the dog to break some bad issues with biting and when I go anywhere I always leave him with Josh. I just adopted another ½ hound site unseen that had been in a shelter for over 490 days and she is just a little over 2. Josh made sure I understood what I was getting into and helped me the first day we got her off the plane. I plan to take them both to Josh for kenneling, whenever I have to travel, provided the new one can behave! Also when she settles in more we will do more training with Josh with both dogs. I wouldn’t use anyone else, ever unless it was a dire need and then I would worry all the time. I never have to worry that Josh won’t take care of my dogs like they were his own. It’s a comfort.

My dog is so happy to go here. I'm one that wants the best for my dog and I feel at good dog she is happy and safe.
