friendly service with a nice amount of indoor seating! food came with oolong tea, which was perfect. general tso chicken was pretty good, more on the sweet side although it was slightly spicy too house special pan-fried noodles: decent noodles here; they were properly crispy and crunchy and the brown sauce was tasty. the bbq pork was more flavorful than what you would find at other places! otherwise, fairly standard and delicious egg flower soup: it was OK. overall, a great place to get some pan-fried noodles and other yummy dishes
I absolutely enjoyed the food. Got a whole Roast Duck, bokchoy in garlic, ginger sauce, Chinese broccoli in Oyster Sauce, Vegetable Fried rice and Duck, noodle soup. They actually give you the whole duck at this establishment. I recommend this Restaurant.
The food was AMAZING! The menu is extensive, the hospitality warm and welcoming. Wish I had a restaurant like this near me, but I can only dream of one while outside of Portland.
Get there early because the options were limited but that's a good thing because as I was waiting for my food a ton of people came in to order. It seems to be a local favorite spot. Good food, good price... I'm satisfied with that!
The food was *amazing* and we didn't realize that they were not open for dining. They allowed us to order there, and we waited outside in the cafe area. The food was so tasty hot and immediately when we got it. It was also great later and a lot of chinese food is not! Great sesame chicken and beef chow mein. Egg drop soup, spring rolls, and rice all excellent.
Great Cantonese style BBQ! Honey BBQ porkis hands down the best I had in a long while - very crispy and flavorful while not too sweet.
Absolutely delicious. This is one of those authentic hole-in-the-wall restaurants in a sketchy place. I recently moved from Hawaii and I've been looking for a place that makes good noodles and jook. And I'm happy to say that I found my replacement. So far, I've tried their Super Bowl A, Super bowl B, chicken jook, and century egg and pork jook. Looking forward to trying their funn dishes as well.
WATCH OUT!!! I paid with a card and was charged more than what the receipt said... the lady printed me out a receipt for $14 wich is what it was supposed to be, but the alert that I got on my phone said my card was charged $16.80 which leads me to believe that she intended to add a tip without asking me and doing it without my knowledge. I was led to believe that I had paid only $14 because that's what the receipt said and it wasn't until I got the alert on my phone that I found out she had charged me more.. and honestly I have no problem leaving a tip but this was a to-go order and she didn't even offer me any tea while I was waiting so the idea that she felt she needed to steal a tip from me is more than enough reason why I will never go back to that mediocre Chinese restaurant ever again! And I hope they're happy because they just lost a customer for life over $2.80 and I will do my best to steer others away from their establishment.
Love this place, an old Portland Gem! One of the best Wonton Soups . Great BBQ pork and whole Peking duck made in house daily. Let’s keep this place open!
The roasted duck Super Bowl soup is delicious, filling, and about 2-3 meals in one with noodles, dumplings, sliced, roasted meat. Ample seating. No ambiance. Looks a little sketchy but that's how you know that the food is great.
