Dr. Robert Gordon has been my doctor for many years. I am very grateful for his dedication to his Patients. When the doctor is able to take you from one stage of your life to another. and help you learn about your listening very intensive . As a doctor to his patient it is very honorable. It is very scary learning about yourself and try to understand why you feel the way you feel is very challenging. Dr. Gordon is a very good doctor and I thank God always let his dedication to his patients. It is very honorable to have someone to listen and encourage you . Tracey Shephard has been my doctor also for many years. I’m grateful for the time dedication and commitment that she has to for patients. Foothill psychological is very warm and inviting Office. It is not always easy to speak to someone about what’s going on in your life . The staff at foothill psychological truly try to meet try to the needs of each patient.
Doctor Gordon by far is the best I’ve seen in my almost 25 yeas dealing with depression and medications I feel very safe with Dr Gordon He is conservative with meds. He worked wth me to get off one medication successfully.. Thank God !!!! The staff is very very friendly and just overall experience is very positive Also I started therapy wth Dr Gary Slaton who is so easy to talk to and helped me to learn new way to deal with issue that I had hard time doing on my own or sorting out. Well I highly encourage you to give Gordon a try. God Bless Also. I just saw a review that a girl was unhappy with her visit and doctor yelled at her .. Be real with your accusations That Doctor Gordon has such a mild manner about him Never would “YELL” at a patient !! Nowadays it seems easy to accuse people of things. She probably was unhappy with something else ... people need to watch their accusations. Karma always come back. So be honest lady
I've also been with Gordon for a year plus now. I suffer from generalized anxiety and panic disorder and was first prescribed Xanax for it until i realized how bad the medication is for someone of young age like myself which is 28 years old. So When I first came in my goal was to get me on a different medication that was non-narcotic or off of them completely. Not only am I still on the same medicationbut when I first came in i was taking 2 mg a day and now I've double up to 4 mg a day. To top it off running out of my meds is a very critical situation and anyone who suffers from panic attacks would strongly agree. So how does Gordon help? Well he schedules me an appointment about 2 months and week away from that day being seen and gives me a fill for 30 day and 1 refill so i have 60 days or 2 months worth of meds. That last week I'm out of meds, i'm calling him, CVS, and IEHP while i feel like my chest is caving in and I'm suffocating to death and all I get back is well the doctor has to see you before you get a refill. So about 6-9 times out of the year I get to a point where I run out of meds when now taking double what i used to and came in for help getting off of them and I'm literally laid out on the floor hyperventilating so bad I feel like i'm on the edge of blacking out, I'm calling for help and I hear, well i can't refill until i see you. Well thanks man that was helpful, yeah i'll just wait hear and feel the worst feeling ever that i would trade for any other feeling because the feeling I have right now makes me feel like being dead would be better even if it were a painful death because at least a painful death would eventually have an ending. Unlike Gordon's medical treatment which never even had a start. Seek a different Psychiatrist while you're ahead because the only thing I think this guy majored in was calligraphy.
I wanted to put zero stars, I have been treating with Dr. Gordan for maybe a year now..i have severe panic attacks, anxiety, PTSD, ect. He has not been any help. I have tried to contact him on an emergency basis on his personal line and he has never returned my calls. While in his care, I ended up having a nervous breakdown and ended up in the hospital..he has me on 10 different prescriptions..two weeks ago I went to see him and tell him what happened, my mother went with me and had questions as to why he has me on so many medications. He got upset and yelled at her. His response, I need to deal with it. I notified him that my Pharmacy and PCP indicated that Im on to many medications..I now have chronic kidney disease..I notified him at my visit last week what I was told, that would do the same things that the majority of my medications would do..I also told him I have severe panic attacks and I can not handle them..his answer again, I need to deal with it..but my therapist stated that I should notify him as to how long they last and I need something to maintain them..Dr Gordon then started yelling at me got mad. I asked him, why are you getting upset with me? He said because you are not listening..I told him my kidneys are bad because of all the medications..I told him he is suppose to help me and all he doing is drugging me up with medications..I got up, he yelled at me again. I opened the door and his staff heard our conversation..I told him he is suppose to help me not make my condition worse..he kept telling me to come back in the office and shut the door. I refused. I told him that he also treated my mother the same way when she asked a question..I told him, you get paid to help me not to yell at me..when I was in the hospital they notified him and he never came to see me and make sure I was ok. There have been several times I called and left urgent messages and nothing..he also finally filled out a form for my disability just this month that he received in February, this caused my disability payment to stop for a month..this is my only income. I would never recommend him to anyone and I am going to look for another doctor and start over. This is very traumatic for me due to my circumstances of my PTSD..
I have been with Dr. Gordon for over 16 years. He is very kind and patient. I feel he has my best interest in helping me with my many issues. I suffer from PTSD, Depression and Anxiety.
Wow, just unbelievable behavior from a place that offers psychological services. They answered and told me they'd look to see if there were any appointments. Kept me on hold for 20 minutes then purposefully picked up the phone and hung up I'm guessing because it was lunch time. Explain the situation to me, I can call back if you'd let me know what's going rather than keep me on hold and then hang up. I called back and the same guy answered and pretended not to know me, even though I just spoke with him. Everyone needs some serious training in this establishment.
Dr. Gordon is far from professional, since when is it ok to yell at your patients. You are suppose to be helping them not making it worse,.
Doctor Gordon is great but his staff is really bad they have poor customer service skills office drama and turn around is crazy new people all the time now and they do not have clue about what they are doing. VERY SAD used to love the staff here now just very disappointed.
