Was absolutely floored/dead when I saw all the Friday vegan options. Service was kind and patient as we tried a handful of flavors each. I first tried the vegan pistachio, which was a little too mild for me (too vanilla and not nutty enough). I ended up getting the vegan dark chocolate and vegan blueberry in a small cup, which was $4.25. The dark chocolate is VERY rich and just the right amount of sweet. I highly recommend the blueberry--it tasted so fresh and was also just the right sweetness. If I came back, I would get a cup of all blueberry. I am so sad that I don't live in the area so I could come here more often!

They have beautiful creations and delicious flavors. The staff is also very helpful and let you have many samples. Thank you for opening my eyes to what happiness really is.

Compared with another popular gelato spit, this place doesn't have a ton of flavor options but they still offered popular flavors and some unique ones too.  *vegan friendly!*

They also offered other baked goods and coffee treats.  The service was friendly and fast and hubby enjoyed the gelato! The perfect end to a date night out!

The Dark Chocolate Sorbet is the most heavenly dessert I've ever had.  My husband wanted to buy me flowers on the day of the last snowstorm but the flowers were gone so he bought a pint of Dark Chocolate Sorbet from Gorgeous Gelato.  It's like eating a dark chocolate truffle with a ganache center, except better: softer and creamier (even though it's sorbet, so no cream).  All of their gelatos are excellent - made by real Italians right here in Portland.  I hope they'll have the Dark Chocolate Sorbet regularly.

My first trip ever to Maine and I had the joy of experiencing this marvelous gelato. If ever I am in Portland again, Gorgeous Gelato will be one of my first stops.
