Mount Desert Island Ice Cream

I've never been disappointed. Amazing flavor choices and great service. Just don't expect basic van choc straw flavors. They are never boring or bland, never. Go there, eat ice cream.

I love their Ice Cream. My favorite is Bay of Figs. I was there with the extended family and everyone found a flavor that they loved.

A good place for ice cream, but definitely a touristy spot that is pricey and not set up for comfort. They have fancy flavors sometimes, so that can be nice.

The lady manning the shop seemed rather sad (hope you feel better if you see this) but the flavors were daring and inventive and the Four Oranges of the Apocalypse was the single best ice cream I have ever had, I was in ecstasy for an hour afterwords. Just don't get it in a cone because you want the aftertaste to be solely the ice cream. It was complex, subtle, just... oh my.
