Red's Dairy Freeze

My favorite soft serve in the greater Portland area. The sundaes are delicious. I like the spanish peanuts and whipped cream on my hot fudge, and a the sundaes are a great value too. There is an ice cream dessert that is mixed with different candy choices, of which I've tasted a spoonful, and would order someday if I ever get my fill of hot fudge. They make a marshmallow shake too. Yum!

Fantastic ice creams. Very cheap and large quantities. Love this place . Visited Portland light house and on our way back, we had a quick pit stop ! Kids loved it. Hot fudge was the best :)

I've been going here for at least 25 years. (That's as far back as I can remember, kindergarten.) Now I take my kids here to sit on the parking blocks, and reminisce of the care free days of being covered head to toe with half-and-half ice cream, rainbow sprinkles, and eyes. The staff is awesome! I wish I could eat 1000 chipper sandwiches at once, but I can't.

An absolute classic, like DQ but with local products, better options and family run. Cannot beat their root beer floats! Also so nice to kids.

We've been going to Red's for as long as I can remember. It's a family favorite! I love their strawberry ice they make once they collect fresh strawberries. We'll be going for years to come.
