Grace Real Estate Company

I have several rental properties that Grace Real Estate helped me find and acquire. However, they really showed their true colors when a co-worker of mine needed to find a new place to live quickly. His landlord had sold the house my co-worker was living in and so he needed to find a place to move his family, including his school-aged children. Grace Real Estate found him a place big enough, in a great neighborhood and within his budget. They went beyond my expectations in taking care of me, my friends and my business.

Grace real estate does not rent homes. It only buys and sells homes. We do own a property management company that is a separate business. This company manages over 550 homes and we aim to please everyone but as you know that can be difficult at times. We also are a equal opportunity employer and must have people who speak all languages. I am sorry you couldn't understand him but he came out to fix your issue and did fix your issue so this is the important part. We refund deposits all the time when places are left clean and no damage.

I rented from Marta and Pay and they said my rent was 650.00 I had an section 8 valcher for 900 00 which clearly covered rent. They upped my rent to 900.00 without notification to collect the full 900.00. When I started working my valcher went down to 734.00 which clearly still would cover my rent. Now they are making claims that I owe back rent. They are skanless and out to make money off of the state and people. Plus they never came to fix the water leak outside so the water department could read my water correctly and they are also trying to charge me for that as well.

I am only putting 1 star to write a review this is a horrid place to rent from. If u call for maintenance issues they do not give u a timeline for when maintenance will arrive if they ever show. The entire complex was out of heat for a month,!!!! They gave 1 space heater that would blow fuse when u tried to plug it in. I had to call the city twice before they fixed it. Now i have moldy water coming down wall and they cant give me a time to be home for maintenance to come in!!!

I was very disappointed with my experience at Grace Real Estate. The name of the company also changed to Las Casas and also KC Commercial. The first week I was in the house at 1,000 a month the AC went out, it took them 20 calls and a lot of stress and run around to finally get a new one two weeks later in 100 degree weather. This was just the beginning of non stop problems. Maintenance issues, sending out maintenance workers who do not speak english. Plumbing problems even with only one working restroom, it was over a week one time, and then they called roto rooter. Just a few of the major issues. The run around every time you call and major major issues. I would not rent from this company again for anything. Then they flat out lied in the end and took my deposit. We as renters have to pass background checks, previous rental checks, credit checks, etc yet we blindly go through and rent without checking our "landlords references". Here is your heads up.
