This restaurant has been around for a long time but we haven’t been here for years. Everything stays similar, average service and delicious food. Definitely recommend the eggplants with garlic sauce. Ma Po tofu wasn’t bad either.
Soup Dumplings here are a must! The crab and pork dumplings are so juicy and flavorful! Also their crispy quail is very flavorful and tender! I only wish they had a sweet chili sauce for it, as it only comes with white rice which can kind of be a dry combo. Good customer service and even a restroom which is rare in restaurants nowadays.
I’ll start by saying the food was decently served with reasonable portion sizes and will definitely satisfy a craving if your in the mood for Chinese. However, for the price your paying I recommend ordering out! The dine in experience is less than mediocre especially if your looking for a modern and CLEAN sanitary environment. Place looks as if it’s never been renovated. This makes me question the sanitary conditions of the kitchen . I won’t be going back but as always the choice is yours.
Food was alright, thinking maybe we didn’t order correctly. Liked the Dan Dan noodles but wouldn’t recommend the eggplant or kung pao tofu. Also, the wait staff wasn’t as attentive and hard to flag down when we needed them.

4/23 dinner with the GF. We had the Beef Chow fun, it was good, a little oily. PSD's still great! 3/18/22 meal break! Pork soup dumplings & cold noodles. Still really good! And now Grade = A. 12/10/21 FYI: soup dumplings now 6 pieces not 8. But still very good. Cold noodles still good too 10/11/21 still good. 7/20/21 love this place. Soup dumplings still great! Prices have gone up a bit, but still reasonable. 11/26/18 still a great place! 5 stars for consistency. Great spot! Love the pork soup dumplings!! So many good and interesting dishes to try. House red wine is good and inexpensive, beer also is inexpensive. Service is fast and usually very friendly. Been there 50+ times. Guess that makes me a regular :
I live in the area and have dined here and ordered out for more than a decade. Very good Chinese staples both Americanized dishes like a General Tso but also many Sichuan dishes that are delicious. Prices are reasonable and the kitchen cooks fast! Delivery is always fast too. Great cheap lunch specials. Service is brusk or even gruff but it’s all in the spirit of being efficient and getting you what you want. The dine in experience is a bit grungy but with old New York charm. Posting a current full menu here as they don’t seem to have a website.
Their xiao long bao is surprisingly delicious! I really like the skin texture made from wheat? Idk and smoky taste of broth within it
My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for almost 20 years, and so we were very disappointed to have experienced what others have called “impatient and rude” service. When my lower tip 13% reflected our experience, the waitress even had the nerve to come ask for more money and argue with us about it! I don’t know what has happened but we always had such a great experience at this place, it’s a real shame they have ruined it.
We took the food for takeaway. The picture doesn’t do the food justice though. Big tasty dumplings, big size and flavourful noodles and nice soup. It’s a shame the prices to eat in are a lot more expensive than to take away otherwise they would have got 5 stars. I would definitely recommend.
