Granite House

My late step son stayed here for several months and it had a very positive effect on him. He found compassionate staff, a rich network of caring people and a venue from to rebuild his life. I've read the reviews and while some may disagree with how GH operates, isolated treatments and 'fake' reviews I encourage you to look beyond that. For every negative review I can attest there are dozens of positive ones that have not been posted. I heard many during my son in law's graduation - from both guests and their loved ones.

Most of the reviews are done by current staff members or former occupants that may work there now as "Recovery Staff", so there is a little conflict of interest here in most of the positive reviews. Post by "Manish Patel", this person is the spouse of one of the owners other companies, nothing to do with The Granite House. This is pretty sad that your reviews need to be forced or fraudulent to create a positive statement. I worked for the company for a little under a year and watched how uncaring and self-absorbed most of the so-called "staff", owner and CEO are. There is one thing that they strive for and it is not success of the client, it's how much money they can make off their pain and suffering. I would suggest calling the Farnum Center in Manchester NH or another well-known facility that will actually put effort into helping your loved one through their addiction.

Not recommended. Wish I had not been so desperate to find a place for my son. Feeling ripped off and insulted, as well. My 19 year old lasted a week. For which I had the honor of paying $3700. They still have our phones. I don't mind paying for the services we got, but I hate paying for the insults.

They hire people with absolutely no expertise in addiction and often no knowledge about sobriety than their own. It's insane that people pay 5000 dollars a month to get the help of people with no expertise in this feild. I came to meet many people I liked while I was there but regardless this place is a rip off. I have friends who have made it through the house successfully but I also know they were desperate enough and needed brain washing so in conclusion if you are so addicted to drugs to substances that you think Alcoholics Anonoymous will help you than go for it but id pay this kind of money at a place that actually hires qualified managers. Going or sending a loved one here is like rolling a dice trust me you can do better. What I will say is this place will give people deals but that's about the best thing about it. Look below and see what A FORMER ENPLOYEE wrote about the place and it says it all. Completely unprofessional. I originally gave those place two stars but it isn't even worth the two stars. This place is as outlet a garbage dump and a waste of money. The employees LIED to my mother and father and decieved me. They use God as a justification for all their crazy reasons for their actions. I would like to also point out that a worker by the name of Matt Simpson stole an iPhone charger from me. This place is not safe
