I have been maintaining my sobriety for over 5 years and no doubt it was with the help of the medication (methadone) I have so many different opinions how this program could be better. First off take homes, my counselor does not have the time to spend with me so that I get the required hours in. Part of getting better is getting employment and maintaining it going to work daily and being a responsible adult, How can I maintain my employment and meet all the hours needed for take homes?, which at this point I believe I deserve. Anyone in treatment and reading this will understand I get up at 345 so I get to clinic early enough to get in and out. I dose at about 545 drive home which takes 20-25 mins immediately start getting ready for the day drive to work, work all day and do it all over again the next day. Because of my treatment I see no opportunity of even a weekend away because I can't get take homes I am caught in the catch 22, I have a counselor who cannot meet with me in my time frame for the amount of time needed to qualify for take homes heck this is a tough job for counselors most of the time there is not enough counselors to treat the amount of patients therefore here is how I see it. If someone is testing clean for 5 years relax some of the take home requirements especially when you do not have the staff to accommodate the patient. I should not be penalized because my clinic cannot accomodate a patient. In addition when I started treatment and sat down with my counselor one of the first things he said to me was this is a money making business if you cannot pay they will drop you. What happens when the clinic cannot provide the services needed for the patient. I do not know but am ready to research and figure it out.

This place is a NIGHTMARE Facility !! Over the capacity !! It should NOT BE OVER MEDICATING and it definitely does medicating i went there it was a Nightmare everyone in the pjs getting up at ridiculous hour of 3am Good luck Save yourself you have a better chance with suboxen you don’t gain a million pounds and turn into a slug worse thing I ever came off of i WALKED OUT OF THERE AT 40 mg then. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU JUST THE MONEY IN YOUR HAND THEY BOOT PEOPLE THAT CANT PAY THEY ARE BREAKING LAWS ON SO MANY LEVELS !!! I take nothing now YOU CAN DO IT KEEP IT simple ♥️ BEWARE OF HIGH DRAMA♥️

This is actually not an attack on this program instead this is for most methadone facilities out there. The planning, and organization is awful! Most people on Mdne- Maintenance are getting their lives in order, and have to WORK at all different hours, and distances. That is not considered when it comes to hours of operation, and timely dosing. This place,( like most) does not begin dosing until 5:30am, and holds "take home" meetings on the weekdays at a ridiculous 6am so, once a week there is every "take home" person allowed to hold up the line to fill 7 bottles a piece making everyone who has to work at 6am late enough to be terminated from their jobs, (because no counciler will just come in for an hour on the weekend to have these meetings done then). Simple fix, been suggested, they will not do it. This continues to shy people away from even getting take home's , makes people lose their jobs, and contributes to people prematurely getting off methadone so they don't lose their jobs. I'll never understand why they won't either open earlier or do late dosing for the obvious reasons I said at the beginning of this rant; (people work different hours, and distances)!!

Awful horrible place where if you're two minutes late they refuse to dose you, ruining your recovery
