Green Kitchen was recommended to us by a stranger on the street. We ate outside, surrounded by all the cool fake plants. All of the dishes we got were really good! I got avocado on toast with lox, which was delicious. Their menu was really good and I’d definitely come back!
I visited Green Kitchen by myself on a Sunday for breakfast. They are always packed for brunch and this was my first time visiting. I was seated at the bar and the bartender/server was friendly and attentive. When they brought my food I was very impressed with the presentation and it tasted just as good as it looked! Then, I finished my meal with a cup of espresso. Overall an amazing experience! A must try in the neighborhood!
The tap water here tasted very bad and I couldn’t take more than one sip. I ordered a BLT and it was pretty average, nothing bad, but the area I sat in outside smelled very bad. I would recommend for the staff to keep that area on the curbside checked regularly! I also ordered a chocolate milkshake which was pretty good. Overall, the experience was fine but I don’t think I will come back.
Green Kitchen has a vibrant ambiance and welcoming staff. The food itself is pretty good for the price and the portions are good for most plates. Wraps, sandwiches, and paninis are sizable and come with fries can substitute for sweet potato fries or a salad so they’re ideal for a filling lunch.
This is a good place serving a mix of dishes. Service is pretty solid and the portions are big. Ordered pancakes and eggs with a holendaise sauce. Not a lot of depth to the flavor of the sauce but that appears to be common in NYC. If you’re a family or a group it’s a good place to come for brunch
This spot is a vibe! Not everything on the menu is a winner, but they do have a few things that really do shine! I love their drinks as well. The Frida margarita is delicious! Their Brussel sprouts shouldn’t be missed. You should also try their artichoke dip. It’s seriously the best dip I’ve ever had! My friend really enjoyed her fish tacos as well. The atmosphere of Green Kitchen keeps making me want to come back!
Always walked by here and loved the set up and looks of the restaurant. Finally went in last night for a quick bite to eat and a drink. They have a seasonal cocktail list and at first I was timid but I went with bartenders recommendation for a pumpkin margarita. The only way to describe it is that it just tastes like Fall. The Big Smack is an interesting twist on a burger or steak sandwich. Great dressing and I always love a sandwich that doesn’t skimp on pickles. The GK fries and aioli dipping sauce were incredibly addicting. Will definitely be coming back again as this place seems to have a good menu for every time of day.
Ample portions, fast and great service, and PHENOMENAL drinks! The casamigos drink is very, very good 6 strips of bacon in a side is relatively unheard of around here so I’m a fan of that AND it’s not the porky, salty kind. The grits didn’t have any flavor but I know some people like that so I can’t say it’s wrong.
The staff was excellent, the vibe was aesthetic, and the proportions of the food were big however the food quality and taste was bad. Perhaps I ordered the wrong things but the calamari was too hard and chewy and the I couldn’t even get through breakfast tacos because the recipe is lazy.
I waited one hour for this food. I ordered a California salmon burger which does not include a bun or side, w a separate side of sweet potato fries. First they brought me a salmon with a bun and fries. Then they took the fries off the plate, replated the burger and gave me a side of sweet potato fries. Then they took the burger off the bun and put it over lettuce and brought back the fries. By the time they got the order right, everything was cold and soggy. I took two bites and got the check. They charged me full price and when I complained, they did nothing. They do not understand service, care abt their customers and you’re basically just a check. If you’re hungry or want to receive what you order, this place is a gamble I don’t recommend taking.
