Greenville Station

Horrible wait time, first time riding and I thought I was going to have a better experience. Train delayed for more than two hours. I called to see if I could be assisted with details about the train delay and was put on hold for 40 mins and no one answered so I had to hang up. Do not take a train, take a flight or drive instead. I do not recommend this Amtrak at all!

The train is a great way to travel and this station is clean and easy to find. However, in the last few months Amtrak removed all the agents leaving only a caretaker. All ticket and luggage transactions are handled at trainside and no longer in the station. This is not difficult but can be disconcerting to travelers.

Nice station, was much better when it was staffed. Still beats flying.

Second time this June running late. My daughter's train from D.C. was 45 minutes late and now the train from Birmingham AL is over an hour late. Really need to get it back on track!
