Excellent, friendly service! I had a fairly new and expensive couch cushion start to come apart at the seam. The gentleman who helped me was so nice. He repaired the cushion immediately and did a great job for a very reasonable price.

Just called this number. " Kandt's has been taken over and is now Gresham Upholstery. The gentleman was very friendly and helpful. When I took my project down, he was very helpful.

I highly recommend Kandt's in Gresham. We had our counter chairs refurbished there about 4 years ago (picked out a nice, sturdy fabric from one of the numerous sample books and charts they had in the shop and then Mr Kandt did the work removing the old stuffing and fabric and installing the new). When he was done they looked beautiful, like brand new, but I wondered at the time how long it would last looking that great (that's part of the reason I didn't do a review until now). I'm happy to report that even after all the time that has passed since we had them done, they amazingly still look as good as when we brought them home! We use the chairs constantly as we eat almost all our daily meals at the counter, but the seams are still tight, and the fabric still looks and feels new. Any spilled drinks and foods have cleaned right up and there's no stains on any of them. Also the upholstered parts remain smooth and solid, no seams or stray threads have come loose and no sags or wrinkles have appeared. It's as if we just brought the chairs home from the shop. In fact in this day and age it's wonderful to see this kind of craftsmanship, it seems quality workmanship is scarce in the fast-food-mentality society we've become. Though it's been mentioned in another review that Mr. Kandt can be a bit... eccentric? and the shop isn't fancy, and in fact is a bit rustic, we found him nice and professional enough in his business dealings, and had the job completed on time as promised. So maybe 3+ Stars for friendly customer service? and 5+ Stars for quality workmanship and materials - would use them again, and we highly recommend Kandt's to friends and family.

On 4/18/14 Mr. Wayne Singleterry reupholstered our 6 dining room chairs. He did great work on chairs (fantastic work). His personality is great and very easy to work with. We are very much pleased & satisfied the work that Mr Singleterry did on 6 chairs. We would recommend Mr Singleterry to our family & friends. Thank You Milan & Violet Petrusich
