One star is one too many for Greyhound. Booked tickets for a round trip so our son could visit us from Eastern WA, where he started school. The 1st bus did not show because it broke down, no notice or update sent, no back-up bus, they just rescheduled him for a bus leaving 6 hours later! So we were forced to purchase a new ticket with another company. On the return, 2 days later, the bus was 3 hours, yes THREE hours late (found out later by calling Greyhound) and because our son was going to miss his connecting bus, once again, we were forced to purchase tickets with another company, barely made it back to his student housing to go back to school. When initially inquiring at the station in Bellingham we were informed that the arrival time of the delayed bus was "uncertain". As I am writing this I am in an extremely long holding loop on the phone with Greyhound attempting for the second time to obtain a refund, having been told at the first attempt that the tickets are non-refundable. Is this not called a breach of contract?

They are not even open when they say they open at 7 :30 and no one is even around to pick up tickets to me that is poor business and they should be written up or hire more people to work on time

I usually don't write reviews at all but I am pretty frustrated. The first time I took the greyhound, it arrived on time and was great, however the second time, was supposed to leave at 5:25 and board at 5:10. I arrived at 5:10 only to find out it had left a minute before (15 minutes early). The third time, I made sure to arrive an hour early. The bus arrived an hour and a half after it was supposed to leave and we left at the time we were supposed to have arrived. I really don't know what to expect from Greyhound anymore and is not consistent at all unlike every other transportation service I've ever taken.

greyhound is a horrible service. true. as far as depots and service that this particular spot is going to offer this place is pretty good given the company that employs them.

Bus was 45 min late, just to tell us they are full and we have to wait and hour for the next bus. An hour and a half later they tell us that it's going to be another 2 hours. Worst service in transportation I have ever dealt with.
