Grit Coffee, Crozet

Good place, great staff and great coffee. Kids that come in after school, particularly on Friday's, are out of control. They act like it's a school gym rather than a place of business. Someone needs to set some rules and expectations.

Authentic espresso, quick and tasty basic food options. The coffee was well made by our barista, both a Cuban espresso and a mocha we're both well done, not just thrown together by someone mashing buttons on an automatic machine. They don't prepare food on the spot, but we tried some of the premade options and they were also very tasty and hit the spot. Would be happy to go again, it's very good and very quick for the quality you get.

This place is awesome. Great atmosphere with indoor (comfy seats!) and outdoor seating. A little nook in the corner where your kiddo can play with some toys or a small chalk board. I had the black bean hummus wrap for lunch then on a second visit (the next day) the avocado toast; both were delicious. Definitely coming back here the next time I'm in town!
