Great place to browse and buy. Very unique collection of rock, world music and jazz. If you need something repaired, the owner is an expert.
This place is awesome. I brought in a malfunctioning receiver, and the owner took a long look at it, before warning me he would have to charge before going any further. He gave me his honest opinion all for free. After some thinking, he pulled out a receiver he just picked up, tested it, and sold it to me for a very reasonable price. He also taught me a few things along the way! I couldn't ask for better customer service. Such a nice dude! I highly recommend this place for service repairs, but there is also a decent collection of used records as well!
Grooves and Tubes was recommended for repairing my 1960s Magnavox with quite a few problems. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had for service, knowledge and fairness. The owner worked on it until it was as good as an antique stereo can get. It sounds as good as when I was a teenager listening to my first Beach Boys album!
Dropped off my vintage stereo receiver for repairs. Very accommodating proprietor. Will complete review when repair is completed. UPDATE - my receiver has been repaired and is working perfectly!
Awesome spot for vinyl and repair shop to boot. Great selection of jazz, r and b, and rock. Talk to the owner, I'm pretty sure hes got lots more in storage. His wife owns a clothing and costume jewelry store in same area.
Extremely and unnecessarily overpriced record store. I’ve been to literally 8 record stores between 10-30 mins away, and none come close to the prices here for the same records. You’ll find the same records for a dollar or two that are like $8-10 here. Completely taking advantage of the customer. Never seen a record store with no records under $3
Great hidden gem record store. Big jazz selection. Owner is friendly and knowledgeable.
This shop is great and the owner is even better! He fixed my 60’s Magnavox turntable and it sounds amazing. Could not be happier!
Truly aligns with "a diamond in the rough"! This little shop not only has a great LP selection, but a repair shop as well. The staff is friendly but not overbearing. Will definitely make this a stop on Record Store Day!
Gerald is a great resource and provided a great experience at his shop. Stop in for a nostalgic step back to a time when vintage vinyl was the rage and good people shared a common love!!!
