Gulf Islands Waterpark

Always a great place to go! When we return every summer all of the slides have been repainted for the upcoming season making the park inviting. They are even adding another kiddie area. I do hope they will add a restroom closer to the kiddie area in the future. There is also a gratein the kiddie area in need of repair. Overall a great place for a family outing to beat the summertime heat!

Im a family of 5! We bought season passes and have been going 2-3 times a week! Kids love it. Its nice, clean, friendly and safe.

i was at the water park today and was enjoying myself until I was told someone broke into my car. Gulfport police were called out to the park. There was also another vehicle broken into. When speaking to the employees about it they acted unconcerned. Was told there was cameras in some areas of the parking lot but not all. There was 5 purses stolen between the two vehicles. Glad our items where not taken out of the locker because after looking over the reviews that seems to be a problem also.Having your identity compromised is not a good feeling and then to have employees that act like they don't care topped it off.

Pros: - family oriented , nice employees, reasonably priced. Lockers for $7 a dat. Cons: - Food is horrible . It’s too expensive. It’s all fast food without any healthy options. And they don’t let you bring your food or fruits Inside.

Really can't find a fault with the park. The facility is clean (well the guy's side is). My fiance said the woman's bathroom was "worse than a nasty truck stop bathroom". The rides are fun and the staff were all friendly. My kids had a blast! The food is okay for the price. Has the best deal on season passes I've ever seen, you'd have to be insane not to get them if you think you may go more than once. I guess my only real complaint would be the lack of an actual swimming pool or area. There is no place to actually swim. The wave pool is ok, but is quickly over crowded with traffic from the lazy river. I would enjoy it more if there were a pool with a high dive and swimming area. Maybe insurance prices have killed those though. The food (and drink) policy stinks, but has become standard. They are racking up! I spent $45 on two hamburger combos, two pretzels and two smoothies. It wouldn't be such a hard pill to swallow if you could bring in drinks for the kids or something. That's just the nature of the game though. Still think it's a great place to go. Again, the kids had a blast and we had to drag them out of there. Got season passes so will be going back often!
