Little Black Creek Campground and Park

We had a wonderful time on our picnic. Nice and somewhat quiet place. The grandchildren and I went swimming while pawpaw took a nap under the hickory trees. The bathrooms need a good cleaning and updating. Lots of rust on the stall doors. Cobwebs and wasp nest need to be sweep down and a fresh coat of paint would do wonders. They also need to put out a garbage can in more places. Especially by the restrooms because dirty diapers were left and stinking up the area by the coke machine. All in all we had a good time though. I would also suggest mire watchful eyes at the restroom where I caught a man and a woman in the men's restroom together doing drugs when I was checking it for such before my grandson entered. Needless to say, he use the woman's bathroom with my grand daughter and I, and he didn't understand why. I couldn't really tell him and ruin his time. My grandchildren are still innocent and we are going to keep them that way as long as possible. I will be calling the office first thing Monday to let them know about this because when I called, no one answered. Like I said, we had a good time but you always got to watch for the creeps in this world.

Nice place. $170 for a 3 bedroom cabin. Have to bring your own towels and linen. Little dissaponted there are no walking trails. We will go again when my kids are a little older.

Our family booked for a reunion...cabin, bungalow, and primitive camp site...i recommend cabins over bungalows....was told fully stocked kitchen...4 utensils and a 4 cup coffee pot...Cobwebs inside for sure!! A hole in the porch floor right in front of door passage...very concerning....the views were beautiful and money is spent on landscaping, but there isn't any attention to maintaining bungalows...the campsite bathrooms were awful! Not just one, because our daughter and fiance' tried two different locations! I would say if you were in an RV, you would be well pleased....

Camp sites and lake are realy nice. Loved it. And the camp staff were realy friendly and helpful. But the reason I did not give 5 stars is the bathrooms. They are seriously in need of improvement. Even a good cleaning would go a long way. We did enjoy our stay tho.

The area was gorgeous. Watching the sun set on the lake every night was amazing. We stayed in the primitive camping area, but they have plenty of slips for RV parking and cabins for rent. Canoe and boat rentals, zip lines for the kids...fishing, or just relaxing. Bathrooms could use some renovating, but otherwise an absolutely wonderful place to make a getaway to.
