I was visiting a friend who lives in Odessa. He had be going to another grocery store. I suggested we try H-E-B for a change. I was pleasantly surprised. The store was very clean, organized and easy to move around in. The carts were in good condition (that is a pet peeve of mine). I will absolutely go back the next time I'm in town!

I usually get there when it first opens so things are good.... but at 10:00 am or so... there was 5 speedy check-outs open, but only 2 regular lanes open...OF COURSE, there's at least 3 people in each lane with full carts like me!!!! and...OF COURSE...no exceptions in the speedy lane no matter what... there was only 3 of them in use.. but no....so by the time I make my way thru and drive to the house.. already being 80+ degrees outside.. all my refrigerated items are nice and warm and my popsicles have a little puddle in the corner of the bag.!!! I like shopping here, but sorry, this experience pretty much sucked

My family's favorite place to shop for groceries. No other store in Odessa has more vegan options than HEB. Always affordable prices, great selection of items. If there's a product we want- they will actually order it in for us! Sometimes it can get a bit crowded when its busy, but we still wouldn't consider going anywhere else to grocery shop!

My favorite of all grocery stores. You won't find a store director ANYWHERE as good as David.: ) This HEB is busy busy busy from opening till the doors close [very high volume store], yet David will always manage a min or two to let you know he's happy you're shopping at HEB.. Great personality and it shows in his employees.

I do like shopping at HEB but lately it seems the produce section is just not up to par. The lettuce is always brown and very watery. They also tend to not carry enough stock of their coupon items. They need some improvements but other than that we like to shop at HEB.
