Halal Meat and Mediterranean Foods

This place ripped us off. My wife went to buy 4.5 pounds of leg of lamb, but instead they sold her a mix of lamb chops and mostly bone, undersold the amount of meat and charged her extra to boot! She didn't know any better, but that's no excuse for screwing over a customer. We will never be back

Great market with large selection! The employee at the meat counter was so nice! He cut a lamb bone for us! Looks like meat delivery is Thursday? We came in on Wednesday so the case was a little empty, but the ground meat was hiding in the freezer: lamb & goat! Along with a great selection of non-alcoholic malt beverages peach is delicious! Lots of things we haven't seen since we were kids...candied almonds, Bounty bars!! We can't wait to go back!

Extremely overpriced, for barely any authentic Mediterranean products, mostly stuff you can easily find at your neighborhood walmart... oh and btw .. their groceries are expired, stale , and some of their overpriced stuff even have damaged packaging and come unsealed

Great place for Mediterranean food ingredients and the service is amazing.

6 stars! They cut kebab lamb meat for us to the exact size we wanted with beautiful pieces of fat on each chunk. Super tender after we grilled it, and only $11/lb! Friendly service.

Highly recommend this store. Fresh meat , friendly and honest people. Every month I go there from Vancouver wa but worth it. The best meat you will ever find in Portland. I'm saying this after 4 years of searching for a good meat

This place is awesome! Everyone is really friendly and willing to explain script I don't understand. The food in the small deli seems authentic and the staff is willing to help you make a good choice if you're not familiar with the choices. Plus, the deli food is inexpensive bonus points!. I had meal with spicy-ish chicken and rice, which came with a hearty bowl of lentil soup that was amazing. I'm definitely going!

This place has a big variety of options for fresh halal meat , also has some frozen halal chicken. You may call to ask about the day they get fresh lamb from the local farms. also you can place your orders by phone.

Have been shopping here since mid 90s, nothing but a great experience. Love Abu Omar, the owner one of the most kindness human being. May Allah bless him always.

If you are looking for a local butcher this the place for your protein needs. Weekly fresh beef/lamb/goat. They sell everything except pig. Everything is hallah/kosher. Also, I love going their because they have a very good collection of south asian/middle eastern spices.
