Hales Bar Marina & Resort

This place is pretty cool, but you never know when the store will be open or closed. kind of ran by someone else so they kind of make their own hours . very kind people though it's a lot of fun but we were misinformed on a lot. my husband and I seen this place on Ghost Adventures and it sparked our interest . We had went hoping to be able to take a history tour or maybe both history and ghosts tours. but the lady that does the ghost tours only does them on Friday and Saturday nights .the lady that told us about them and gave us her number that works in the office at hails Bar Marina said that sometimes she will come and do it through the week when I approach the woman about it she had no interest in doing that she was very rude was not about to even try to do it and we had 13 people wanting to go and it was $50 a person so they lost out on a lot of money!! The floating cabins were awesome though I love being on a cabin on the water very cute clean had a cute little deck on the back that you could sit and fish . Got to see a lot of wildlife lot of mountain View's just a very awesome place to go aside from the hauntings and the tours.

We booked two double decker pontoons more than 72 hours in advanced for mother’s Day, to took deposits and confirmed everything was good to go. Less than 24 hours before we were supposed to be picking up our rentals hailey the office manager called to notify that we would not be getting our boats because they double booked. Keep in mind we have people traveling in town and expected to enjoy a mother’s Day on the lake. This is a very shady company, I recommend going to Harrison Bay for your boats don’t count on these people for your family’s enjoyment.

Beautiful location on the lake. Visited to take pictures of the historic Hales bar dam, and to look at boats for sale at the marina. The walkways at the marina we're narrow, Rocky, and in a bit of disrepair. Did not try the restaurant. Tennant's we spoke to we're very nice.

I went for a paranormal investigation & stayed overnight at one of their land cabin rentals. I loved the cabin & could have easily lived there. Only drawback was no pets allowed. It was a fun night with friends!

What a great place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful views all around you. Can't wait to go back.
