This hotel took good care of me. I arrived a day later than my reservation due to travel issues long story and they managed to still get a room for me and only charge me for the one night. I really appreciate that kind of care and customer service. The room was spacious and comfortable. I really enjoyed the breakfast served in the morning. Waffles, sausage, eggs, and coffee really is a great way to start the day. All in all a great experience with wonderful customer service, comfortable room, and a filling breakfast.
I’ve stayed here several times a year for the past five+ years and it’s always been ok. Last week, when I got to my room it smelled a bit funky. So, I called downstairs to see about getting a new room. After being on hold, I was told to come downstairs and grab the new key. Perfect. When I got downstairs, the front desk staff were complaining to guests about the phone ringing and how it wasn’t that important to answer. As I stood in line waiting on my key, I couldn’t help but wonder what was said when I called down. So, I got my key and headed up to my new room. The smell was better, but the air conditioner was stopping and starting all night. It obviously had some issues. Needless to say, I didn’t get much sleep. It’s great that the hotel is literally two minutes to the rental car garage, but I will still stay somewhere else next time.
Just stayed overnight to catch a early flight out of Portland. Very close to the airport and a shuttle is available to take you there. Didn't get the chance to sample their breakfast. Smelled good though. A paper bag was available to take with you to the airport. Containt a apple, bagel, honey, jelly, bottle of water and utensils. Will go back if I am the area.
Hotel staff was extremely helpful. Sarai & Te’ya at the front desk were very efficient and got me into my room quickly I was an extremely late arrival. They made sure my room had waters & were very professional for it being so late/early in the morning. Definitely recommend this Hampton.Rooms: 5/5
The room was nice and clean but the front desk staff in the morning was awful. I was alone with a toddler and had 4 very heavy bags and told them when I checked in I would need help in the morning because I couldn’t do it all by myself with a toddler and they said no problem. The guy dropped a bell cart at my room and left. Didn’t help me at all. Then after struggling to get down to the lobby with all mt things and crying toddler I had the guy at the front call for a shuttle, I was the only one down there and I called for the shuttle. After a while other people made their way into the lobby then The shuttle arrived and they loaded THEM into the shuttle and told me I had to wait for the next one even though I’m the one who called for the shuttle. The guy was so rude to me about this. It was already hard enough to do this on my own with a 1 year old but then the added stress of having to now rush as fast as I could to get my bags checked and through security all because of having to wait for another shuttle even though the first shuttle was called for me specifically set me behind schedule just made everything so much worse. I will never stay here again and I don’t recommend anyone else to either
Room smelled, had 4 huge flies flying around, and the sink clogged. Was too tired to call and get moved. Do not recommend such a poorly maintained buildingRooms: 1/5
Really clean. Great service. Shuttle took us to the airport in the morning. Staff was A+ Great experience
Simple and pleasant, well kept rooms with excellent shuttles from the airport. The service is great with very helpful and understanding staff. Up at night with 8 hour jetlag from London and they were super helpful. I recommend Hampton Inn and will stay here again if I come by this neck of the woods in the future.Rooms: 5/5
Room on the east side had so much noise from planes. Walls shook so much that the unit attached to wall as night table crashed to the floor!! Hotel offered to change rooms but no manager or anyone came up. An hour later I called again about changing room and they finally sent a housekeeper with keys. No offer for compensation or concern to see if anyone was hurt or glass broken. Nice hotel, clean and very close to airport but ask for the quiet side, which was a little quieter.
This is a nice Hampton Inn centrally located to the airport, Vancouver, and Portland. The rooms were nice and clean and the check-in process was easy. I'd definitely stay here again.Rooms: 5/5
