Hampton Inn Russellville

First impressions looking on caused a bit of apprehension but don't let that deter you. Inside was spotless and the staff was very courteous and helpful. The beds were comfortable and clean as well as the room and bathroom. Plenty of towels stocked there. The pool was nice. The exercise room was clean and all three machines were in working order. Breakfast is maybe not as diversified as some places but it was sufficient. We would stay here again.

My buddy had a room and reserved the meeting room for his wedding preparations for him and his groomsmen. We also went swimming in the indoor pool. His room was down stairs and had that musty smell most bottom floor rooms have at hotels, but everything else in the room was as expected. The conference room was well equipped for meetings or gatherings with a poster board, tables, chairs, good coffee creamer, etc. It also overlooked the indoor pool witch was neat until some woman looks up and sees you now starring at her in her bathing suit, but you've already locked eyes and you feel like a creepy staring dude even tho you weren't looking at anyone in particular. She just looked at you and that caught you eye. While swimming, the pool was a good temperature, but had really strong chlorine that burned your eye. Given the number if kids that swim in there, that is probably not a bad thing. The hot tub was nice and warm, but not so hot your got sick. There were cookies out in the lobby and the staff were welcoming and kind.

Nice rooms and service. They redid the breakfast stuff and made it nicer but cut out the yogurt. Room smelled pretty stuffy this last visit but usually it's good.

Clean and comfortable but the TV is weird. The guide scrolls automatically and you have to restart the TV every time you want to bring up the guide again. I thought it was me but the desk clerk said that is normal. Also, this hotel is more expensive than similar hotels nearby.
