Hana no Sato

My husband loved the chawanmushi so much he tried to make it at home. It's like a savory egg custard. He spent a lot of money on ingredients and the end result was.. strange. Unless you're VERY adventurous, just eat it here. Their food is delicious and you won't need to clean exploded egg off of all your cooking supplies.

Charming mom-and-pop shop. On-street parking, and parking in back. Sweet customer service. Inari sushi per piece also! Some of the softest, best unagi you'll find, and the prices are very reasonable. Goya chanpuru is superb.

Great comfort Japanese food! Prices are very reasonable and the workers are friendly. Japanese owned it seems, got to speak a little Japanese to the waitress.

We chanced upon this place when the Pho place we were supposed to eat was closed. We were visiting from Kauai and our daughter lives nearby. We were glad that we came here. The food is great and the service was great. Very friendly and very attentive to our needs. The lady gives you extra napkins before you could ask for it or gives you extra plates or bowls even before asking. Just great. Will eat here again on our next visit.

This is almost a "fast food" local hole in the wall but higher quality of course. Prices were very reasonable for the area, and the food still tasted good. I got the chicken curry, so good. Parking/area not the best but all was good on our side.

The food was great and priced reasonably. The Gozen bento is one of the best deals my family and I had in Honolulu. There was only one wait staff, but remained calm, polite and delivered our order flawlessly.Food: 5/5

It's okay.. beef bowl had very little beef and tasted worse than yoshiniya. Gyoza was very good. Eel bowl also had very little protein for the price.Food: 3/5

I love Hana No Sato food. It’s authentic Japanese food. The ppl there are very friendly & courteous. Prices are very reasonable too! You gotta go there.

Really good Japanese style food. For now they are BYOB, so get your favorite adult beverage and eat some wonderful food. Store front street parking. You can also find parking behind the building.
