Great atmosphere, loved watching dinners be made at the bar. Waiter recommended all food we ordered and was all amazing! Kimchi with egg appetizer, seafood and steak main course, as well as a pork pancake buta tama with mochi. All fabulous! A bit pricy - but Highly recommend. Sooo goood!!
Food was good. But this place looked a bit run down when you look at the bar, it looks more like a storage closet with junk piled up on top of the bar and register area. Clutter everywhere. Soon found out why as I watched the Manager on duty have a meltdown for everyone to see and hear in the middle of dinner. Very unprofessional and immature and kinda ruined the dinner experience for me as I watched this young man fail in handling a situation with his staff and large group at a nearby table. It was like a TV drama series. Instead of the drama, he'd be better off apologizing for their table screw up, comping something for them and inviting them back, then moving on to perhaps....CLEANING! The bathroom also was a disaster area. I come here annually and always like to come here, the food is great and still very good despite their management challenge. Staff is trying and hope they get management in line soon or place will be in trouble.
The Okonomiyaki here is amazingly well done, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Theor bar menu is also very nice, and the Pina Coladas are delicious as well.
Seared ahi was a little too cooked but other than that, fantastic food! Matt the server was very friendly, helpful and has great taste in music.
looks like using frozen seafoods... it was smelly and not Fresh! I DON'T understand why they automatically charged me 20% of gratitude. i thought it would be something that we do voluntarily.
The lunch menu is great. The food is delicious and the prices are actually a little bellow average for lunch in the area. The dinner prices seem a little high but haven't had dinner here so can't rate that. So far had their garlic chicken and teryaki chicken
Love this place! They treated us with kindness and even welcomed my service dog, most of the staff even came over and said hello to him. The food is super inexpensive and super amazing. Must haves are the green tea chew hi, miso soup and the udon of any kind. We had the pork, squid and shrimp yaki udon. Don't mind my spelling. To feed both my husband and I to the point of bursting it was 32 dollars and that was with 3 of the more expensive drinks on the menu. Super quiet and laid back. For sure a must stop place in Waikiki.
Delicious !!! It comes with sauce but I’m very simple so he said it was no problem to leave it off . Very friendly man that greeted me at the door & took my order over the phone !
Great dining experience. Big portions and good prices. The waiter was especially good.
Absolutely delicious! Very happy to have discovered this place.
