Amazing dinner! Pork belly appetizer was delicious! Seafood pancake was amazing and so the galbi. Service was great! We were supposed to go next door but found this place by accident. Highly recommend!
Han Bat was the perfect lunch spot after going to the Empire State Building. The tofu soup warms you up after a day of walking in the cold and the spice level was juuust right. Their menu is quite extensive, so take your time to read through all the options. Remember to cool the food before eating because it comes BOILING HOT Vegetarian options: They have a delicious tofu soup!
Very good experience. Their hot stone bowls were absolutely sizzling so the bibimpap was excellent. The kimchi is great. It feels like this is a solid choice out of the area. I don't understand why meat in Korean town is so expensive though. We are in America and not in Korea so the premium for it doesn't make sense.
Good Korean restaurant with lots of choices on the menu. Reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and attentive service. Food is on par with most K town restaurants. Food is good, but not outstanding. Extensive menu choices. Has good lunch specials. Great restaurant for family with young kids. Would recommend this place!
Our pictures do not do justice to the amazing food we had at Han Bat! Nice staff paired with amazing food that transports you to South Korea. Highly recommendable. Don’t forget to order Soju with your food ;
Stepped in as our hotel was nearby, as a fan of the Korean kitchen, we were pleasantly surprised by the tasty food we got here. One of our travel accompanies did not like Korean food, so he ordered the Fried Rice, but for that plate at $17 it felt way overpriced. The rest was all good!
Had a wonderful meal here after leaving a place two doors down that we had to wait almost an hour to get in, which was very noisy and turned out to have a limited rather precious menu. So glad we left and came here. We were seated at a cozy table in the back and the women that served us were terrific. Ordered du bu gobdol and oking uh bokum, both delicious and spicy. Plus some soju, white wine, and terrific banchan. Bustling, busy Wednesday but relaxing and not overly loud. Can’t wait to go back.
Very good Korean food. The serves is a little rushed to get the order, but food came really quick. It will takes years of work to get the food done like this. The Do Ga Ni Tang had the ox-knee cooked exactly what it is needed: not too soft, but should not be chewy. Simply delicious.
Some of the best Korean food in NYC. The Kimchi stew is to die for, amazing!!! I prefer the larger version than the mini because it comes with rice cakes, but both are amazing and the mini is a nice complement to the lunch special. Kimchi pancakes were also delicious. The lunch special is very well priced considering the ban chan are endless and you get two full meals with rice. The servers are also super sweet and attentive. New go to spot for me :
Enjoyed the bulgogi hot stone bowl bulgogi gobdol and fried rice bok eum bab with pork. Small plate appetizers are served while you wait for your orders, as is custom with Korean restaurants. The bulgogi gobdol is served with onion, mushroom and rice. You get more meat compared to the other bulgogi bowl that is served with bean sprouts. Once you get your order, you should mix it with the sauce that they serve separately and continue mixing to avoid burning the rice, as the bowl comes in quite hot. Would recommend coming in before 7pm on a weekend as the place fills up quickly after.
