Been going here since I was a little girl food always fresh , you and plentiful with flavor
Good, reasonable prices, but the egg foo young was Lil over cooked, due to the eggs tasting a lil Burt.
Food was great but prices caught me by surprise. The menu says one thing but receipt said different. But overall good food and service.
The $7.95 lunch menu consists of a list of dishes to choose from. After selecting the lo mein, she said it will be $2 more. I asked why is it $2 more and she began speaking fast and unrecognizable in an attempt to confuse and frustrate me into accepting the additional up charge. When I asked which dishes could I get for the advertised $7.95, she reluctantly pointed at the first thing which was pepper steak. There was clearly a list of dishes to choose from. I like pepper steak so I went ahead and ordered it, but it was clear that she just wanted to charge an additional $2 for nothing. Have you ever had a lingering uneasy feeling about the price of a meal you paid for? But dismissed it as I "maybe I was wrong or didn't add it up right" don't dismiss it at this place. They are shady and will add additional up charge for nothing. I believe they do this because they are aware that this is the only Chinese place in the neighborhood or surrounding area
I didn't like my pepper steak. And the egg roll was like the ones you get from the gas station. Not authentic or homemade. . All the Chinese restaurants in Memphis quality is declining more and more!! It went from quality, it took 15 to 20 minutes to get your food. Now its ready in 5 minutes.
Absolutely the worst in service and attitude!! I’ve ordered from this place about 10 times or more over the last year and a half and I am done. The food is okay but the guy that works there is MEAN and rotten to well paying customers. A couple of examples: one time he made something other than what we ordered, and screamed at us from the grill because we asked him to make what we actually ordered instead. Why are you screaming at us if YOU were the one that messed up the order?? He should be apologizing, not screaming about it! The last straw was when I ordered a dinner combo and asked for noodles instead of rice as my side, understanding that there would be an up charge. Instead, he gives me rice, and then makes a whole lo mein meal in addition to the dinner I ordered, increasing my bill by $10. I told him I didn’t order a chicken lo mein, but that I simply asked for noodles instead of rice as my side. He went ballistic on me and refused to adjust the bill. Again, I’ve come to this place many times, he sees I’m a regular customer. I told him, he can either correct the bill, or, I’ll pay for what I didn’t order but it would THE LAST TIME I ever went there again. He didn’t care, he wanted me to pay for something I didn’t actually order. This person is costing the business their customers and if he is the owner, which I think he is, he needs to remove himself from the environment before he completely runs off all of the customers and is forced to close. Note: The woman that works there is fine and there is one younger gentleman I’ve seen there who is wonderful in service but I haven’t seen him in a long time.
Horrible customer service. Guy that answers the phone, tells at you like you're a 5 year old and I asked him to cook my veggies soft because I'm having dental work. When I confirmed my order when I picked it up, he had a nasty attitude and told me if I wanted soft veggies cook them again when I get home. I didn't pay for the food. He got madder.
Hit or miss!! most times it's a hit. Sometimes the chicken is rubbery. Great portions best fried rice in town.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: NoCurbside pickup: No
This is my first time trying them & I've got to say it taste good. You get a very well portioned size for your pay. You can also see into the kitchen so they're not nasty from what I've seen, & of course there's room for improvement, but overall I'll be getting my Chinese food from them until otherwise. They're the best in Frayser thus far from my stand point.
I ordered off of their $7.95 lunch menu and the food was okay but as I’m moving my food around I see a cooked in roach in my food called the store he told me to bring the food in when I got there and he saw that it was indeed a cockroach cooked into my food he immediately got rude threw my money back at me and told me I’m not welcomed in there anymore be aware
