The girl with long light brown hair/nose ring at the Reno store is not nice or helpful. The item we were looking for said it was in stock but apparently online isn't accurate. Then she said "it says there is one in stock at NW expressway". I asked them to call and verify, which she rolled her eyes at and made the other boy there do it... & guess what? It wasn't in stock there either so had I drove 20 more minutes, I would have been more upset. So then I tried to ask what colors they had in stock since the color they were out of was black, and she just said "none" without verifying. We ended up calling the store on 240. They had 1 left and the held it for us. They were super super nice checking out/loading our car. It's a lot further from our house but I'll be going back there before Reno again.

Harbor Freight is a truly dangerous store for me. I go in with a plan of picking up a specific item, and always find tons of other items that I didn't know I needed! And I love that. The chain of stores is very consistent, whether I am in California, New Mexico, or now, in Oklahoma. I've never had trouble obtaining items that were advertised in HF's ubiquitous flyers, online offers or direct mail. The occasional freebies can definitely lure me to a store as well! But the thing that keeps me a loyal HF customer is that when I do my research, pay attention to the reviews and assess my needs rationally, I am always pleased with the quality of the tools and materials that I purchase from HF. Always!

Most of the staff are nice and knowledgeable. There is a cashier has no personality and no helpshe was not new employee. If you ever need drill bits that last a long time use black oxide.

The store on SE 15 th street was very helpful. They did not have the tool that we needed and when they were busy they took the time to locate the tool at another store. Great customer service.

Tool quality and selection steadily improving in recent years. Harbor Freight has become a place to find that specialty tool that isn't readily available anywhere else and at a discounted and affordable price to the general public.

Great customer service!! As long as you have, or had, a receipt they take care of you.. No issues with exchanges.. I did about 5.. Kept the last one.
