Stopped by one night on the recommendation of a friend. Weather was nice so we could eat outside. Kept the hot dog fairly traditional... The Three Piece Suit - chili, melted cheese, and onion. The Haute Fries - curry ketchup and Sriracha called to me since I was craving curry wurst. Finished up with an Oreo shake. Hot dog was good: the split-top, buttered bun is a nice change and the natural casing is a snap that I like. Fries were a nice mix of savory curry with a little heat.
This is a really cool spot. The inside is nicely decorated, with lots of dog pictures!! They have lots of options. You can get the hot dogs as beef, veggie, or chicken. I got the Buffalo blue cheese crumbles, chopped celery, sriracha, and ranch and House onion relish, mustard, mayo, celery salt I really enjoyed both, especially the House Dog!! This is a Black owned, gourmet hot dog spot! Very cool!
Really good dogs. Good milkshake. Fun atmosphere and great location. It's just slightly too expensive for me to give 5 stars. Very solid 4.5/5 from me one of my favorite little places in old town.
A great place to grab a quick lunch, with specialty hot dogs that will satisfy your taste buds. And a serving of fries is enough for 2 people easily. I like the way they cook their fries; crisp and golden brown. My standby is a Chicago Dog.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: NoCurbside pickup: Yes
- food was good but not what I expected, the hotdogs were smaller than I thought they would be. They had good flavor and were made with fresh ingredients but still just ok. - staff were friendly other than one lady. she had no personality at all, when a customer said thank you after receiving his food , she just looked at him with a blank face and walked away. - place was clean for the most part, outside trash was overfilled and the wind / birds were making trash go all over the place. Me and another customer picked it up. - prices too high for what you get. For two hotdogs, two fries and two drinks it cost $47. - parking is hit or miss to find in the are. - overall not a bad place but overpriced for what you get for sure.
Stopped by for lunch based on a friend's recommendation. The restaurant is following Covid safety protocol and currently there is no seating inside. I ordered the lamb burger with the pineapple jalapeno style. It was a little small but tasty not too spicy for me. I also ordered the cheesy fries. There were so many and it got the spot!
Who doesn't like a hot dog? Well, maybe a Vegan or vegetarian? I was pleasantly surprised to see you could pick your dog. And, the veggie ones, pretty up there with the topndogs!
I love that this place has sliders. Good for a quick bite. Hotdogs are great too. If not into spicy just be careful when selecting the menuFood: 5/5
My family loves this place. Both of my younger girls love hot dogs and are crazy about the food here. It's by no means cheap. This is a artisan hot dog cafe, and we will be regulars! Comical/drive-in atmosphere. We love to try a new hot dog each time we visit. Cleanliness is not exactly there, but the food is just too good people!Food: 5/5
First time coming here today and it was great. The place was very clean. The Chicago dog and house dog were amazing. The buns were toasted perfectly. We ordered fries and onion rings which were so good! We also tried 3 dipping sauces. Definitely would recommend this place to others and will come here again if I’m in the area.
