Hawk Haven Vineyard & Winery

We visited Mother's Day weekend and had a lovely afternoon! We did the tasting, and sampled our way through the tasting menu. After the tasting, we bought a bottle of the one we liked best, ordered a very nice cheese tray (I think it was called the Vineyard Picnic) and enjoyed sitting on the patio with it. We will definitely return!

Good wine. Not just a "good local wine", but generally good wines. Some can be a little pricey if looking to buy a bottle, but nothing to exorbitant. The staff is engaging. You can feel their passion about making good wines. Can't go wrong with a tasting there.

What a quaint intimate winery experience. My sister and I when for a chocolate and wine pairing. The chocolate was nice the wine was better the bartender was personable and informative. The cheese board is a must, for the love of all that is good in the world you have to try to fig jam with the cow goat sheep milk cheese combo of delightfulness. The staff was so nice it felt like such a unique experience we'll definitely recommend and be back.

My friends and family came down to this winery for wine tasting (8 people), as soon we got there the girl at the front asked if we were there for the event or tasting, we answered that we there for tasting (the event was not starting there and there was only two people tasting), she told us with an attitude that we needed reservations. My wife asked if we can do 2 groups of 4 and she looked behind her to another person who shook her head no and once again with a attitude told us "next time make a reservation" with a snappy tone of voice. Would you turn away two groups who didn't know each other who came in at the same time? Cape May winery had an event and was very busy but still could accommodate us.

My girlfriend and I stopped at Hawk Haven on our way back from a lovely Labor Day weekend in Cape May. Not only was the wine tasty, but their staff were warm, informative, and inviting. We ordered a cheese plate with our glasses and enjoyed a quiet afternoon in their outdoor seating area. We recommend them to anyone who's interested in wine or looking for a good place to have a drink with friends in the area.
