Great family owned store. They have been in the neighborhood for over 30 years. Great service with great prices. The brothers are very personable and are never in rush it's a joy to do business with them.

These guys just sold me the worst two rolls of packing tape I've ever used- two different brands, so I guess on the plus side you've got a selection of choices… Won't be returning… but I will be running the same errand again to Flat Hardware

Hawthorn Hardware is a gem in a Coal mine. This is a fantastic hardware store, the owners are very knowledgeable and helpful. They also repair bicycles. I keep going back to this place because of their superior customer service.

Random collection of hardware supplies, but they’ll do their best to help you get your job done. Great little bike shop too. Fair prices and good work.

Stopped by here to have my fiancé’s bike fixed after the bike’s chain became undone and the brakes were loose. Wasn’t sure what to expect since it was my first time, but was kindly referred to an older man behind the counter that gladly offered to make the necessary repairs. After tightening the brakes and applying WD40 and some elbow grease into the chains, he finished off the quick repair by putting some air in the tires and I was out the door in less than 10 min. Would gladly come back here if my bike needed a quick tune up and highly recommend this spot if you have any general repair needs!

Great store. The guys are friendly and helpful and they have all the basic hardwares you might need at good prices. Also, they are quick and excellent at bike repairs: tire changes, etc.

I will go out of my way to shop here. This store represents how stores in Brooklyn used to be and should become again. The guys that work here have personalities so stark and perfect they could be cast in a quirky film. Always a great experience at low prices.

The most unique and helpful hardware store with fair prices. I make an effort to return my business after moving from Lefferts Garden. Nick is the best. I miss living in this neighborhood. -Joel

Great prices and great customer service. I was buying stuff for my bike from Amazon and trying to do it myself it was easier to buy it from them and install myself.

Worst hardware store in the neighborhood. The rudest people run this shop and I'm not trying to be mean. I tried to pay with a card and they started calling me a nuisance for asking and demanded me to leave the shop. Don't support these people. There's much better and nicer hardware shops in the neighborhood like the one up the street.
