Hays the Music Store

The hours could and inventory more expansive but it's a nice clean store. The gentalman behind the counter was unobtrusive but helpful when needed and friendly. I'll definitely keep going there for what we need.

I was on the fence about writing this post. I have thought about it for over a month now. It really bothered me that none of the guys at the counter knew the difference between nickel wound, cobalt, steel, etc. in guitar strings. I had to explain it to them. Now I don't think all of the guys up there worked at the establishment but I know at least one did. Also, when I walked in no one said a word. I mean even rock jesus over at dexter music will at least say hello! If you don't know who I am talking about just go there and look for yourself. Anyways I will go to Hayes one more time and see if maybe I went on a bad day. Once the best, now just bad.///// I did visit Hayes again yesterday and the reception was great. The guy came over and helped me find what I needed. I would recommend this place to anyone. The last visit might have just been a fluke.

Hays is Poplar Bluffs only music store at the moment, it truly has stood the test of time. The prices aren't bad and the employees are helpful and nice.
