A beautifully restored house, perched on a hill. The tour guide is very friendly and responsive. He was very helpful with e-mail regarding my visit, and making sure he was there. He even waited with the group (of 3 others) so that I could join them. The guide is full of anecdotes of all aspects - the house, the history, and the family members that lived there. The best part is that the house is full of stuff that has always been there - there are relatively few replicas. Easy accessible by car. Perhaps slightly expensive at $10 for a 35-40 minute tour.

Highly recommend this tour. Guide was so informed about the history of this house. Loved it.

I have attended a couple of events here and it's always been such a pleasure. It's a beautiful house well worth a visit!

Guy who gave the tour was excellent. He is the director, and obviously knows his stuff. Took the time to answer every one of our questions and is passionate about his work.
