Helena Community Credit Union

Helena credit union releases funds that were from financial aid, grant and student loan to collection agency - notified that the funds were exempt they have refused to help us. My sons account was cleared out, and under federal law these funds are exempt, they gave them all of his money without hesitation and without reimbursement we are looking at 8 months in court trying to get this money back; the check that was deposited and it was the only money in his account was written from state of mt, department of education and they are doing nothing to help us, or reimburse us - they violated federal law - DO NOT USE THIS BANK! filing complaint wiht BBB, social accounts, local newspapers and the senate. don't let this happen to you and your social security disability checks, scholarships, grants or student loans - these funds are exempt and your bank should always research your acocunt before surrendering all of your funds to investigators leaving you with nothing!

The online banking is user friendly and I have always had great in person service as well When they did a system upgrade the president of the credit union was there to help out. Very friendly,customer focused service

20 minutes and a 5 dollor charge to cash a check drawn from thier bank. Thumb prints phone calls. Never again

So happy I switched. The people are great and the online banking and mobile app are so much better than my old bank.

Said they were open on Saturday until 1pm, not the case. The people are friendly but does that really matter if a business isn't dependable about their hours?
