Took great care and time to adjust my sunglasses to perfection!
I’ve been a customer of Purdy for years - for a long time at the 86th St location and now this location. Michael and the staff at all of their stores go above and beyond in all respects. I can’t recommend Purdy enough.
Great customer service. Christina was very friendly and helped fix my glasses for free. The wire for my rimless frame broke. I offered to pay a few times, but Christina was very professional and insisted that no payment was necessary. Definitely a store that I would go back to buy frames and other eye wear products. Thank you!
I bought new frames here and they were very helpful in finding the right frames at a reasonable price. Later I needed two repairs, one on glasses that I had purchased somewhere else, and they did both repairs for free. I was very pleased and will return.
Excellent selection and good honest help picking out glasses. Tends to offer slightly higher quality frames and lenses. Just bought one pair regular and one pair prescription. Also has 4.5 stars out of several yelp reviews.
I am walking in with a broken glass from work. The friendly clerk not only greeted me promptly, but also help fix the glass immediately replace a loose screw. When I am done and ask for the bill I was told no worry hope to see you again. Thanks and you will have my business next year when my annual exam due and need a new glass.
Repaired my glasses in 30 minutes for free. Great frame selection also. I highly recommend them!
Loved their selection and found what I wanted in less than 5 minutes. Susan was so helpful. I'd been there before when the owner was there. I've had so many nasty experiences at other optical stores. This was a pleasure.
Very disappointing experience. My mother-in-law bought Cartier eyeglasses from Purdy. She brought them in to be fixed after the stem came loose. After several MONTHS of waiting for them to be fixed, she finally got them back only to have the stem break again immediately. When she brought them in a second time, Thomas, the store clerk, was rude and argumentative. She understood they needed to be sent out to be serviced, but the way she was treated and the length of time taken to repair them only to have them break again, is unacceptable. Yelling at grandparents who had been loyal customers and purchased expensive eyewear is no way to run a business. Go elsewhere.
There's only one company in the whole city that has ever stood by their product and it's Purdy. If you get served by Lori you'll be treated like a king or queen.
