Hoke Library (Martin County Library System)

This library is my go to for books, internet, printing, childrens movies& stories and reasearch. The female librarians are so kind and knowledgeable. They know about a variety of subjects and authors. Plus a wide selection of newer books. Calm and beautiful inside also.

Nice little Library. Good programs for children. I wish they had more variety of art books, and no magazine selection. Very disappointed about those two factors.

Very comfortable environment. Excellent reading / computer section for the kids.

I can usually find the good Christian authors that I want in this library and if not they can get it in from another branch in a few days.

I was a little disappointed in the small size of this library. The children's room is nicely set up but we really couldn't find any exciting story books for my five year old. She was mostly distracted by the toys in the room and just wanted to play. The adult section was also lacking. There's an entire row dedicated to DVDs, and then just a few more for books. The middle of the library had several computers, most of them being used. It seems this library (or most) are doing away with paper books and focusing on technology. Kind of a let down.
