Port Orange Regional Library

Second library in Daytona I entered since moving here, clean facility, and most of the staff is helpful. But they need a new security guard, one with more tact and respectfulness of the customers. Don’t chase down people and yell loudly at them “no phones in the library” as the are quite literally exiting the doors in order to take a call about a job they applied for. That is both rude and unprofessional. I am not at all impressed. :(

Just a visitor they want 5.00 for 3 hours of internet time rip off. Almost every other library system is free!

Wonderful people. Helpful and caring. Events like movies and presidents and wives shows are fabulous.

Volusia county libraries in general are excellent! If they do not have a book, CD, tape, whatever, they are happy to get it sent over within days. The customer service is the best I've seen, especially from of a public library. I look forward to many more visits. Specifically, the Daytona Beach and Port Orange branches are the ones I've visited and I'm highly impressed.
