While doing an Art show as we do every year I had parked on a Sunday morning in the parking area of the Historical society . I was one of two vehicles in the parking lot the gate keeping volunteer took it upon herself to ask me to move my vehicle sighting many employees park in the parking lot . I ofcourse was happy to make room for the many employees that reported to work Mother's Day Sunday . As a Grant supported Library I would hope in the future that the Director of this building be a little more accommodating to the local community and it's many events.In fact I was surprised that the Historical Library was not utilizing its Parking lot to promote the sale of its gift shop items and use the opportunity to connect with the community it serves.
