I love this carry out, I’ve been coming here for months and she knows what I usually order and always have been nice to us. The only carry out we order from. I never had complaints the food is always fresh and delicious.

The lady at the front is super rude. They’re extremely expensive and won’t even give you extra sauce without charging extra. I had 2 big orders and she only would give me one hot sauce that wasn’t even full. She was acting as if I asked for a whole free meal. Will not be going back with this poor customer service.

I love this place. I eat here a few times a month. It’s quick, and everything I’ve tried so far has been great. It’s exactly what I want when I crave American style Chinese takeout. The lady at the front has been nothing but kind to me, and I always leave a gracious tip. If you’re not used to Chinese takeout culture and think the front desk lady rude, then you’re too soft and must not get out much. I’ve definitely experienced way worse, but these guys are always busy and I don’t blame them for being in a rush all the time. I really enjoy the Ma Po Tofu. It’s definitely a lot different from the Sichuan style one I’m used to, but this one is in a delicious brown gravy with carrots and peas.

I love this place, my ex wife was evil, so the lady at the front counter makes me feal like she's right there. Food good though.

So my husband ordered mei fun without the shrimp, since he is allergic. He also ordered some other entrees for us that they did not follow directions for those items. When he called store stating that his entrees were improperly prepared, they wanted him to bring it back. It’s 20-30 minutes 1 way depending on traffic. The manger then said he would check the ticket and the kitchen. The ticket read all of the items he didn’t want. The kitchen said they didn’t follow instructions on the the ticket. The manger later said that the kitchen can not see special instructions from online ordering. What? I’m just going to leave that there. Never again!

Hong Kong Express may be the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. I’ve traveled over almost the entire United States and I have not found a Chinese food joint that I can say is better. Their food is phenomenal and their prices are good. Ordering via phone is best and I’ve never had to wait for my order. My girlfriend and I will continue to order from Hong Kong Express. Definitely recommend!

The best takeout in Alexandria’s West End. Vegetables are always fresh and not frozen and you can’t go wrong on anything you order. I highly recommend them.

Food is okay, i dont see other chinese food competition around area to say much but i am rather confused about how they charge. I always get charged few doller extra on top of menu price...and receipt doesn't say anything and just total price...is tax is that high? Imagine they are charging all the customer few doller extra,they are making profit out of it. It's few doller but fooling customer like that is not good way of business for sure.
