Hospice of Rockingham County

I don't have a problem with the way my mother was treated, they were great! The way they handled things after my mom's passing was much different. There billing dept. (Ashley) showed no compassion when dealing with me waiting on my mom's death certificate in order to get her life insurance to pay them for room and board. I ended up paying out of my savings to put them at ease. They made me feel like a dead beat. I was going to do some volunteer work and donate a bunch of medical supplies that my mother never got to use nor need anymore. That's not going to happen NOW nor anyone making a donation to them in the memory of my mother either. I'm real surprise at them and how callous they were in handling this. SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE :>/

Hospice is one of the crown jewels in Rockingham County. The high level of care my mother received while at her own home and after being transferred to Hospice Home could not be matched anywhere. The nurses care not just for the patient but the entire extended family and friends. While we know the reason our loved one is a patient at Hospice, the staff ensures that each one is treated with dignity and love.
