Chicken Inasal was absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming here for the first time. Don’t be afraid to try out their sauces; they really compliment the flavor of the chicken. If you want to switch it up a bit, you can substitute the white rice with either garlic rice; which according to my friend was great and not overwhelming, or yellow rice.

Very good food that is well prepared. The kitchen is skilled and there is a level of attention to detail in the food and prep that many Filipino restaurants miss. For instance, the Ube ice cream sandwiches have a light spread of Ube jam - small thing, really nice touch. The menu has a fair amount of street food for those of us who need to be transported home via lunch. The price point is excellent for the quality/quantity of food you get.

I haven't had the pleasure of eating at this Filipino resturaunt in a while and the food's still as delicious as I remember. Also nice to be around family's and children on a Sunday afternoon.

PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭 Eat the World NYC review: House of Inasal in Woodside, Queens is named for the style of barbecue they offer here, a "dry rub" originating from the central island of Negros. These marinades can be used on everything from tame legs of chicken to organ meats, intestines, and gizzards. Along with Filipino breakfast served all day and a roster of beer and wine, Inasal-style makes this more formal sit down restaurant one of Roosevelt Avenue's most popular.
