Establishment is a bit cramped. Food is average. Hospitality the same. Apart from the Halo Halo (good, one of the few places you can still get it made) desserts better. In all fairness, tasted better. Better desserts can be found at Red Ribbon. Over all 3 stars

When it comes to Filipino food, you really need to ask the right person. On this busy street there are quite a few Filipino restaurants (Ihawan, Krystals, Renee's, Kabayan) and I honestly believe that each of them is good at a different thing. When it comes to Krystals, I think they truly have an amazing Sisig. The filipino breakfast dishes are also great and one shouldn't think of it only for breakfast. It's pretty awesome for lunch or dinner as well. The halo halo here isn't bad and definitely quenches your thirst on a hot summer day. All in all good food, good service and good prices.

The food here is consistent and delicious. Can't really go wrong with anything in the menu. Their arroz caldo is on point and perfect for cold weather accompanied by tokwa and baboy. Brings back memories.

This place is serious Filipino food. For the adventurous foodie, or those accustomed to Filipino food. Fried pork skin, whole roasted fish, blood stew, coconut sautéed spinach.. I could go on but you'll have to see it ans taste to know that it's pretty delicious. For dessert, try the Halo-halo drink.

My family always goes here when we're in the neighborhood, it's our default restaurant besides Ihawan's on the opposite end of the block, and unfortunately over the years their quality has been declining. The second floor is apparently closed for renovations. Their bathroom however is well kept and clean. FOOD: Honestly, subpar. I expect better from them. My recent trip today confirms that they're just not where they used to be. Poor seasoning on sisig and crispy pata and overcooked noodles in my chicken mami soup. Quality is lacking and inconsistent. Their display even looks dull and sad, and it's not full like it used to be. SERVICE: They greet you when you enter and leave, but that's about it. The servers I had today were not lively nor happy, but they weren't rude. They were also not the most attentive to our table. They delivered someone else's order to our table, sorely lacking attention to detail when they're not even busy. OVERALL: I will still recommend them but your experience may be a hit or miss. Perhaps I went in on a bad day, it was rainy and dreary weather after all but honestly, I still don't find it excusable for a less than happy customer experience but for the sake of old times, I'm willing to give them a chance to improve.
