They took time in making sure our daughter's skates were the right fit for her foot type, level & skating goals. I usually don't do reviews, but this one was well earned. Even though I didn't buy my skates from them, they were nice enough to heat mold two pairs of skates ice and in-line for me in a single day, and I really appreciate it. They were super patient, and were happy to tweak them until I was happy, and I am incredibly grateful to them for that. I'm also very thankful to Patti for sharpening my skates, and will be returning in the future for my next sharpening. 10/10 recommended.

Patti is amazing. We just moved to Houston from California. I am anxious to let my daughter get her new skates. I found this great place. We got new skates in a few days. My daughter can't wait to wear them to skate. The new skates fit very well like custom made. They don't even need to be broken in. Thanks!

Ray was very hands on with my 1st ever Boot fitting. The service was beyond my expectations, which only took us almost an hour considering that I'm a BEGINNER and have no history of figure skating at all. He knows what's best for you. tells you everything you need to know about figure skating boots like how the structure of my foot affects my balance when on and off the ice. Finally I have my pair of boots that fits just right for me. This really gives a positive impact on my figure skating journey. Thank you heaps!!!

Patti and staff were very thorough in helping my daughter upgrade her skates. This isn't one of those places that you go and pick a boot off the wall. Their staff takes a couple hours to see how the skater walks and type of foot and design a plan around that. They re-adjusted the blade location a few times after watching my skater balance to make sure fit was right. Highly recommend for the serious skater.

Patti is a true expert and a consummate professional. Our daughter was fitted properly after a thorough session where Patti explained all the characteristics of a proper fit. She and her associates did custom adjustments on the spot, all in a timely fashion. Patti and Ray are awesome. Traveling from San Antonio and getting stuck on the highway for an hour on Saturday due to an accident was worth the trip. I went to the shop and was refitted with a skate that fit well and corrected a pronation problem I was having. After two other pairs that just weren’t right, the third pair was the charm. I skated with them on Wednesday and it was like night and day. My confidence is high and I skated so much better than I ever have. Thank you so much for taking the time to make everything right. It meant a lot that you both cared. My coach Joanie was so happy for me as well.

Everyone was so wonderful and helped me make an informed decision on what my daughter needed. We were worried her foot width or size was incorrect I had bought some skates 3 ish weeks ago since she outgrew her old ones. I only sized up 1/2 a size. Luckily I had also purchased another pair in the next size up, which fit her much better. The technician we saw explained her feet needed more elevation, so recommended some inserts. Which helped soooo much! She went on to her skating lesson right after and didn’t complain. She looked comfortable and steady. Thank you to everyone! We will definitely be coming here for all our skating needs.

We had a really wonderful experience buying an in-stock ice skating dress. After issues with other providers - a shipment from overseas with poor quality, and then another out of country, we found Houston Skate & Sports with in-stock options. Our two month journey to prepare for a competition in less than 2 weeks was saved by their stellar service and timely shipment! I really love the feature that allows you to filter for in-stock items!
