Howdy Homemade Ice Cream

Some of the most delightful service I have ever received. The two staff on shift during our visit were so helpful, and really made our first experience so nice. The ice cream was great with a nice variety of flavors open to sample. No gimmicks, solid ice cream. Great pricing. Hefty portions. Very clean. Happy to have you sample, and they use and wash metal spoons as opposed to making tons of waste tossing all those tiny plastic spoons.

The best ice cream since I churned it on the porch with grandpa! So many flavors, how do you choose!? They have just the solution: try a bite! I tried a bite of their signature flavor, Dr Pepper Chip, and ended up with a double scoop that and Praline and Cream. Highly recommend both. Everyone in our group tried a different flavor, and we are anticipating our return to try more. Bonus! They support folks with disabilities!

The ice cream here is amazing! The selection of flavors is great, too. As a person with a family member who is disabled, I like supporting businesses that seek to employ disabled individuals. The only drawback to this place is the parking. Great ice cream, great cause!

Love this place! I guess a lot of other people do too because it was pretty busy tonight. Great service, I love their concept : Cool patio to eat on, ice cream is homemade and very creamy and good. Many choices, simple menu, toppings are free. They use reusable sample spoons which is a big plus to me. I didn’t have a chance to ask if the ingredients were organic or high quality, or what the process involves, which is something I’m curious about. Moderate amount of parking. I love finding local homemade food, so this is a gem to me.

Fun flavors of rich, creamy ice cream. Super friendly service. Will definately be coming here again. The banana chocolate is made with real bananas and is really good!

Super delicious and fantastic employees! Perhaps a bit pricey, $3 for a single scoop but the ice cream tasted fantastic! Plus free unlimited toppings.

Ice cream with fresh ingredients made by scratch on location!! So yummy. I got the strawberry and banana chocolate. So good. Other flavors.... hot tamale, Dr Pepper, peach pie along with classic flavors. The best part is their the business model which is to employ really great special needs people. HOWDYS FOR THE WIN!!

Staff in the other side of the counter were very friendly. I love their Cookie Monster flavor, the cookie pieces were so big that it caught me off guard. Great local business with a great purpose. Way to go Howdy’s!

Good ice cream, it’s just too pricey to be able to take my family of six to enjoy. I appreciate what they are doing here, though.
