Absolute worse ghetto experience! They have the audacity to put overdraft protection on my account without my consent. The website and the app doesn't work! Nobody picks up the phone! This was the most outdated, irresponsible experience I have ever had. Please do not consider.
I feel so sorry for Ms. Monique. She really could use some help. I can see that Ms. Monique could use a break. Ms. Monique deserves a raise or new position that comes with a raise. She is always the only one I see at the front desk and she always greet you with a smile even when she has nothing to smile about.
Why won't anyone answer the phone! I have been trying for four days. I have also left messages and sent an email, asking for someone to call me. If the phone system is down, someone should send an email to account members letting us know. This is ridiculous. I guess I will have to make a trip there.
I had the same horrible experience that another reviewer already described. HUD FCU started charging me $5 every month for inactivity, without ever notifying me in advance that they will start doing that, during the pandemic when people can't go transact in the building. I sent emessages and emails asking them to fix the situation, never heard back, just got charged yet another inactivity fee again AFTER I've been trying to reach them and "reactivate" my account and they just ignored me. So that's the strategy, simply don't respond to customers - this way you can keep their account inactive so you can basically steal more money in inactivity fees. I've never experienced such poor level of customer service with a financial institution.
It's been my experience that the customer service here ebbs and flows. It can be great with one person and challenging with another. Every credit union has great rates and are much easier to do business with. The on-line banking system is just a bit antiquated but the products are great.
I've had this account since I was a kid. I use to love this bank until about 5 years ago. They are the worst bank customer service is terrible no one answers the phone and its very frustrating. I can't check my account balances online because there is always some issue. Direct deposit works occasionally. Its unfortunate how bad they become. I don't want to leave but I'm going to have to, this is unacceptable.
I have called everyday since Monday may daughter and myself have left several messages and no one has called by. Today is Thursday I started calling at 11am pressed every option and no one answered. And their closed on Fri. This is absolutely ridiculous I’ve never had this experience before but I’m about to be done with them. Their making payments late because of this mess.
The customer service is subpar. Again, no one answers the phone. I have had this complaint since I joined. It has gotten to the point where I am considering leaving them. Yes, their rates are good, but customer service makes you don't want to do anything with them.
The staff are very rude from when you first walk in the door to you get up stairs. They promise you thing like a instant debit card but every time I come up there they say it's broken
I've seen some updates with the credit union, and have been very pleased. The branch has new people and they look like they are making some good changes. Just recently there is a notice on their website of a new site coming soon, and new services have been updated for better convenience online. Rates are great, but I like what is happening there with.
