Don't buy suits here if you need alteration We wanted a suit and bought a set worth $920 dollars from Hugo Boss at Copley-Boston. They didn't have the pants in the size we needed so we tried another style. The pants of the correct size, they promised, would be shipped in. Both suit and pant needed alteration. We were supposed to pick it up after 1 week. We called and they said the tailor never delivered. We showed up the next day, again no show. We showed up the third day and we were made to go up to a third party tailor: who told us she got the suit the day before and needed some time. The measurements the Hugo Boss folks took were wrong. She needed to do some more work on the suit to fit it. We ended up spending 3.5 hours at the tailor's place. The pants that Hugo Boss gave her were also a size smaller. We had to travel on the last day and we had no choice but to take what we had.
In reference to the boutique they have at Copley Place. I got a suit from them, and they are super helpful and patient. I, unfortunately, did not need to keep the suit, I hadn't worn it yet, so I took it back and they refunded me with no problem. They knew how to help me with this. I ended up buying a very nice polo and they helped me again. I highly recommend this store.
I needed a zipper repair on an old orange label hoodie I’ve had for years… a favorite! I saw all these reviews and thought they’re not gonna be interested in helping me… well I called, Dunsten was positive in attitude, I was already parked and thought, I’m going in. The man at the door greeted me with a more than friendly manner, helpful actually. He escorted me to the counter where Dunsten and he looked at my sweatshirt together… the doorman came up with an idea, Dunsten implemented it and voila, the hoodie is was repaired. No charge. I was quite happy I went, more happy my hoodie works again!
Never come to this store if you want to have an alteration. Remember that you never want to work with the sales person, Donald Jackson. Here is my experience: Donald is really unhelpful if you want to do an alternation. Frankly speaking, this guy is neither professional nor responsible. 1. If you buy a jacket from an online store, This guy is going to charge you 40 dollars for a simple alternation without asking you anything. But a professional salesperson should ask where this jacket comes from. In fact, if it is from an online store, the price is 15. 2. At the due date for the alteration. Never expect this guy to contact you himself. Remember to call the store yourself to check if the jacket is ready. It is already one day passed the due date. I called the store, and Donald told me that the jacket is still not ready. The first thing came to my mind is that "why do not you contact me in advance"? A professional salesperson should contact the customers in advance if the store cannot meet the deadline. Otherwise, it is just a waste of time for the customers if they come to the store and hear the bad news. In addition, if you failed to contact the customers. You should admit that this is a fault and apologize. Do not tell the customers "I cannot do anything", just say "sorry". People should be ready to take responsibility but not excuses.
Someone greeted me as I started looking around but he seemed to have his hands tied. I heard so much chattering in the back wonder what that’s all about. Sales floor looked stacked but barely anyone in-store. They only carry the Boss division of Hugo boss.
The worst service possible. I bought a suit and ask for alterations. I received a package from fedex with the suit. The suit had so many wrinkles that i will need to send to the laundry again for ironing. What a disaster of service.!!
Adir was incredibly helpful during my visit to the store. He helped picked good styles, color combos and made sure the suit was properly tailored. I’d highly recommend this location to anyone needing expertise for quality clothing.
Absolutely terrible experience - I was unfortunately paired with “Donald” who’s got his job all wrong. Usually I don’t bother to write reviews but this experience was so bad that I’m taking the time. Donald is Unpolished, amateurish and quite frankly arrogant. With regards to other comments on the sales guy Xanders behavior; I concur! This is a local culture problem at this store. Clean house at the top; this type of behavior is not worthy of any serious international company and could spread to nearby stores. In fairness, other than Donald and Xander the others seemed professional
We loved our experience there. My fiance and I went looking for a wedding suit and Adir helped us find the perfect one. He was very patient with us and gave great advice about fit and colors. I would recommend going there and asking for Adir.
Just bought a suit from here. One employee in particular, Donald, was very helpful in showing me what suits the store had, and very patient and professional in handling my requests. I'm definitely coming back! Thanks Donald!
