Hula Dog Kuhio

Delicious pig-in-a-blanket style hotdog with a variety of unique toppings. We got the polish sausage with original mild roasted garlic lemon sauce, pineapple relish, and Hawaiian mustard, was fantastic. Also got the mango lemonade, equally delicious. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Vege dog

Hula dogs are absolutely delicious and exceeded all our expectations! Unlike any hotdog we've ever had in the best way. All the different breads and relishes are delicious and so are the lemonades. They accommodated just a plain hotdog for the kids too. There is limited seating about 5 picnic tables nearby so just be prepared to take away if busy. Definitely worth a visit!

I’ve come back here twice in one week given how great it is. I had both the Taro and Hawaiian bread, polish, and the different sauces. If you love pigs in a blanket, but also hotdogs, you should try them out.

Such a different take on how to serve a hot dog! It's a polish sausage stuffed in your choice of roll Hawaiian sweet is the best. The dog is inserted into the end of the roll and the toppings are injected into the roll. A must stop if in Waikiki.

Absolutely delicious! A must if you're in the area. The flavors work so well together. I got the hawaiian bread with the mild sauce and then told her to surprise me with the rest. So yummy. My husband got the poi dog I loved it too!! Oh i can't forget the lilikoi lemonade another show stopper.

The lady taking our order was not the nicest. All of the condiments were squeezed down in the bottom and in huge amounts with a decorative squeeze around the top. The hotdog could have been really good and the huge bun was tasty but just not prepared by some one that didn't want to be at work.

Love this place. Great vegetarian hot dogs. 1 can feed 2 people or 1 person and a bird lol. Meat hot dogs as well. These are like no other hot dogs. Love it.

Neither of us particularly like hot dogs, but these are the best, with a Hawaiian twist. We had been to the related one on Kauai Puka Dog, and loved it. This is as good. Food truck style, with picnic benches. Sweet buns, mango relish, lillikoi mustard. Oh, and lillikoi lemonade. Yummy. No wonder Anthony Bourdain liked it !

I had a friend RAVE about Hula Dogs. What I will say is that it's a cool experience, and would definitely go once. There was a heck of a lot of bun:hot dog ratio, but they're super yummy. The lilikoi lemonade is a great add to your meal. Would also rec grabbing the ube bun!
